We surveyed multiple children from all parts of Kent, Ottawa, Allegan, Berrien, and Muskegon counties to get our facts straight. The truth is, it doesn't matter what part of town you're from, or what school your kids go to. Children are trying alcohol as early as age 12.

Kent County:
Percentage of "First Use" of alcohol as a risk to health for ages 12 to 17: 73.8 percent Percentage of 30 days of alcohol use for ages 12 to 17: 20.6 percent.
